Betting on the Cleveland Browns (+4.0)
Regular Season Record: 3-5
From time to time, the Browns will remind everyone that they have one of the best wide receiver-running back combos in the NFL. In Week 8 against the Bengals, Nick Chubb rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries, while Amari Cooper exploded for 131 receiving yards and a touchdown on just five receptions and seven targets. The Browns can survive on just those two players, especially in a shootout, which could potentially happen against the Dolphins, who won their last two games despite allowing 59 points total in those contests.
The Browns are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games as the road team versus a team that has a winning record at home.
Betting on the Miami Dolphins (-4.0)
Regular Season Record: 6-3
Miami’s offense is humming of late, with the Dolphins scoring 66 points in their last two games. Against the Bears, Miami had quarterback Tua Tagovailoa passing for 302 yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions on 21/30 completions. The job can just be so easy for Tagovailoa when both Tyreek hill and Jaylen Waddle are on the field. Hill had 143 receiving yards and a touchdown on seven catches versus Chicago, while Waddle had 85 receiving yards and a touchdown on five receptions. New acquisition and running back Jeff Wilson Jr. also made his mark with 51 rushing yards on 10 carries and a touchdown catch. Miami’s offense just seems it got even more dangerous.
The Dolphins are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games in November.
Writer’s Prediction
The Dolphins win, 30-24.
