Betting on the Dallas Mavericks (ODDS)

Regular Season Record: 36-25

There is no certainty as of this writing whether Luka Doncic will be able to finally return to action this Monday. But at least the Mavs seem to be winning again. Dallas has won its last two games, including the thrilling victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in Hollywood last Friday, 111-110. Kyrie Irving played his first game after missing two contests (both losses to the Grizzlies) and led the Mavs with 38 points versus the Lakers. With Irving at least back, the Mavs should have more firepower this time around to face Memphis.

The Mavs, averaging 113.8 points per game, are 3-1 against the spread in their last four contests.

The Under is 4-1 in Dallas’ last five outings.

Betting on the Memphis Grizzlies (ODDS)

Regular Season Record: 43-27

The Grizzlies scored a big 133-119 home win over the defending NBA champions Golden State Warriors last Saturday to get their second victory in a row and fifth in six games. The only blemish during that stretch was a 138-119 loss in South Beach to the Miami Heat last Wednesday. Even without Ja Morant, Memphis is in terrific form, thanks to the likes of Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane, who scored 31 and 26 points, respectively, in the win over Golden State. Bane has averaged 20.7 points with a 38.9 3-point shooting percentage in three games against the Mavs this season.

The Grizzlies are 4-1 against the spread in their last five home games.

The Over is 2-1 in Memphis’s last three outings at home.

Writer’s Prediction

The Grizzlies win, 119-115.
