You don’t have to wait for six days or so to pass by to see another 2020 NASCAR Cup Series race after the one we watched last Sunday, as the Toyota 500 will be running right away this coming Wednesday. Kevin Harvick got the checkered flag last Sunday at The Real Heroes 400, but if you’re thinking that he – or another favorite – is going to win again, maybe pump the brakes a little bit and consider some of the sleepers we have listed below.

Ryan Newman (+7500)
Three months ago, Newman’s life, let alone his career as a race driver, was put in serious doubt when he got involved in a terrifying accident at the Daytona 500. Fast forward to today, not only was Newman up and walking again, he’s also back inside his car racing at the The Real Heroes 400 in Darlington, where the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series has resumed. Newman didn’t just race for the sake of racing and proving that he still can. He raced to win, and while he didn’t, he showed he’s got his juices flowing again, as he finished a respectable 15th to follow up on his ninth-place finish at Daytona 500 last February. Newman seems to like racing on intermediate tracks, as he’s had three wins and 33 top 5s in 212 career races on such courses in his career.
Matt DiBenedetto (+5000)
DiBenedetto hasn’t been great this season, but he hasn’t been bad either. In five starts so far, DiBenedetto has five top-15 finishes and a top five. His best finish to date was a runner-up performance in Las Vegas back in February. DiBenedetto has a career 23.00 average finish at Darlington Raceway, but he’s been better over his last two races there, finishing eight at last year’s Bojangles’ Southern 500 and 14th at last Sunday’s The Real Heroes 400.
Tyler Reddick (+6000)
At 24 years old and with only a little over a year’s worth of experience at the NASCAR Cup Series, Reddick is a driver that can be easily dismissed by bettors, which was very much likely the case prior to the race last Sunday. But heads should be turning now in favor of the Team Richard Childress Racing youngster, who surprised with a seventh-place finish at the 2020 The Real Heroes 400. Can the rookie put up another impressive performance?
