NFL Week 15 Fantasy Experts Waiver Wire Pickups

NY Daily News (Jake Ciely)

POSITION Pick 1 Pick 2 Pick 3
QB Tyrod Taylor Matt Barkley Jameis Winston
WR Malcolm Mitchell Robby Anderson
RB Bilal Powell TJ Yeldon Charles Sims
TE Cameron Brate

Taylor isn’t appealing due to the Bills being a run-heavy team, but they are battling the Browns on Sunday, a team that has allowed 11 QBs to throw two or more TDs in a game this season.

Barkley is averaging 240 YPG (4-2 TD-INT ratio) since becoming the official starter.

Winston could be gone in 12-team leagues, but in case he isn’t, he’s worth a look. He’s posting 265 YPG (6-3 TD-INT ratio) in his last five.

Mitchell has 263 yards and four TDs in his last four outings, while Robby Anderson has 19 catches for 362 yards in his last five.

Powell, Yeldon, and Sims are all talented backs that are on similar situations: the guy ahead of them in the depth chart is injured.

Like his QB, the Bucs’ Brate is probably gone in leagues with 10-plus teams. The TE is recording four catches and 44 yards per game this season, along with six TDs.

Sports Illustrated (Pat Fitzmaurice)

POSITION Pick 1 Pick 2 Pick 3 Pick 4
QB Joe Flacco Alex Smith
WR Taylor Gabriel Dontrelle Inman Cameron Meredith
RB Bilal Powell Kenneth Farrow Kenneth Dixon Justin Forsett
TE Jermaine Gresham

Flacco is an attractive pick, as he has 320-plus yards in back-to-back games, along with six TDs and only two INTs. Fitzmaurice also likes the QB’s matchup with the inconsistent Eagles defense.

Smith, meanwhile, has a 70-percent completion rate in his last four, while throwing for 254 YPG (4-2 TD-INT ratio).

Gabriel and Inman have been hot for weeks now, so there’s a chance that they’re gone in deeper leagues, but in-case they are available, pick them up as quick as you can. As for Meredith, he’s on some roll, registering 4.5 catches and 70 YPG in the last two weeks.

Dixon got a good amount of opportunities in Week 14, as he carried the ball 11 times for 39 yards, while also catching eight out of 11 targets for 42 yards and a TD. With that decent production, he might get the same number of touches on Sunday.

Forsett had six carries and three receptions last week, and gained 35 total yards. It may not look good, but with Devontae Booker trending down, Forsett could step in and get an increase in touches.

Gresham has something going on the last three weeks, averaging five receptions and 44 yards during the span. He has a good chance to continue his momentum against the Saints D.

Pro Football Focus (Jeff Ratcliffe)

POSITION Pick 1 Pick 2 Pick 3
QB Sam Bradford Trevor Siemian
WR Taylor Gabriel
RB Bilal Powell Ty Montgomery TJ Yeldon
TE Charles Clay

Bradford has been accurate all-season long, as he leads the league with a 71.2-percent completion rate. He’s averaging 246.2 YPG and has a 14-3 TD-INT ratio. Sunday’s matchup with the Colts’ bottom-rated defense should be good for him.

Siemian will be going up against the dangerous Patriots D, but he has momentum on his side. In his last two contests, he has thrown for 702 yards and four TDs.

Montgomery had 12 touches this past week, accumulating 86 yards and one TD. Ratcliffe is liking the RB’s chances to remain as a consistent option in the Packers’ offense for the remainder of the season.

Charles Clay is only hauling in 3.3 receptions and 31.9 yards per game, but he has a favorable matchup for Week 15. The Browns defense give up the second most fantasy points to TEs this season, and they just allowed Tyler Eifert to have a pair of scores.
