FantasyPros
Position | Pick 1 | Pick 2 |

Quarterback | Derek Carr | Tyrod Taylor |
Running Back | Karlos Williams | Lance Dunbar |
Wide Receiver | Rishard Matthews | Marvin Jones |
Defense | Colts |
Bills, Bills, and even more Bills… Not the ones that you have to reluctantly settle on a monthly basis, but rather that emerging team from Orchard Park that continues to amaze fans with its stingy defense and promising offense.
[sc:NFL240banner ]And with that promising offense comes some promising fantasy waiver pickups as well, as FantasyPros’ Nathaniel Reeves gladly suggests. Reeves is high on two Buffalo players in Week 4, particularly quarterback Tyrod Taylor and backup running back Karlos Williams.
Reeves cannot pimp Tyrod Taylor any harder now as he has done so for past few weeks now, with his strongest defense being Taylor’s spot as the fourth-best QB in the league in total fantasy points (26.4 PPG in standard scoring leagues).
As for Williams, what’s not to like about his weekly TD production thus far? And with LeSean McCoy still nursing an injured hammy, the fifth-round pick out of Florida State could very well fit into any team’s lineup as a solid RB2/Flex option until (or better yet, if ever) McCoy gets his gears going again.

Position | Pick |
---|---|
Quarterback | Derek Carr |
Running Back | Thomas Rawls |
Wide Receiver | Rishard Matthews |
Tight End | Charles Clay |
Everybody hop aboard the Derek Carr bandwagon!
As you will see in all of our experts picks in this here article, every pundit, including Andy Behrens of Yahoo, is very high on Oakland’s second-year quarterback after stellar outing from Weeks 2 and 3, especially since Carr has thrown for over 300 yards in those two games to go with five touchdowns and just one pick.
Behrens also fancies another Buffalo player in tight end Charles Clay to produce even better in Week 4. Clay is coming off a season-high eight targets from last weekend and is right on the cusp of the top 10 fantasy TEs for the season.
Plus, with mobile quarterback Tyrod Taylor more often needing to resort to short midfield dumps when he gets his feet going in scrambling situations, Clay’s the one that’s most fitted to be the bail-out receiver over the Bills’ downfield receivers in Percy Harvin and Sammy Watkins.

Mike Dietrich of SB Nation may be a feature contributor for the St. Louis Rams’ SB local affiliate site Turf Show Times, but he shows no bias in picking players from teams outside of St. Louis for his fantasy needs. Having said that, Dietrich has some knockout suggestions for Week 4 for those managers looking for quality pickups predominantly in PPR leagues.
Wide receivers in Oakland’s Michael Crabtree and Houston’s Cecil Shorts III are the trendiest waiver acquisitions coming from teams with seemingly middling passing games. The Raiders are steadily improving on their newfound aerial attack, and Crabtree actually has more targets than coveted rookie Amari Cooper right now. Meanwhile, Shorts has quietly been Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallett’s weapon of choice in the Texans’ passing game, leading all of the team’s wideouts in targets this 2015.
Dietrich also showed some confidence in D/STs that have been far from impressive this season. He claims that the Ravens, in spite of their poor start to the season and subpar defensive efforts since the loss of Terrell Suggs to an injury, actually have a much softer schedule ahead that could bring that vaunted Ravens D of old back to life.
As for Cincy, Dietrich relishes its matchup this coming Sunday against Alex Smith and the Chiefs’ “check down” passing game to revitalize a mediocre Bengals secondary. Kansas City is also playing its second-straight road game after getting barraged by the Packers in Lambeau, leaving Cincinnati wide open to take advantage of a winded and deflated Chiefs squad.
