Erik Jones (+12500)

Jones finished just 31st last Sunday in the 2021 Explore the Pocono Mountains 350. The day before, he was 22nd in the 2021 Pocono Organics CBD 325. So why bring up his name as a sleeper? Well, Jones is one of the most consistent road course drivers active in the NASCAR Cup Series. Although he has yet to take the checkered flag in a road course event, he has three top 5s and six top 10s in 13 career starts on road courses. Last June 2021, he finished 11th in the Toyota Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway, placing 10th in Stage 1 of the event.

Chris Buescher (+8000)

Buescher is on th outside looking in of the playoff picture with 427 points. He has not showed much since the All-Star Race, where he finished third, as he went just 36th in the 2021 Ally 400, 20th in the 2021 Pocono Organics CBD 325 and 19th in the 2021 Explore the Pocono Mountains 350. But like Jones, Buescher has been respectable on road courses in his career. Buescher has a career average finish of 14.64 on such tracks. He has also cracked the top 15 in both of his last two road course appearances.

Cole Custer (+10000)

Coster will enter weekend’s race without much momentum going for him, as he has not finished better than 24th in any of his last three starts. However, revving his engine at Road America could inspire him to pick up a much better finish. In five career races on road courses, Custer has an average finish of 20.0. His best finish among those races was a ninth during the 2020 Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course.
