Sabathia is didn’t get a decision in his last start, allowing four earned runs on four hits in 5.2 innings of a 5-4 road win over Cleveland on July 14. Sabathia is 4-1 with a 2.59 ERA in 10 starts.

That performance should give him momentum heading into a road start in New York, He is 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA in 20.0 innings pitched on the road this season. As for Tanaka, the Japanese star was simply sensational in his last start, pitching a complete game shutout with nine strikeouts in a 4-0 road win over Tampa Bay on July 24. The Yankees are 8-2 in Tanaka’s last 10 home starts.
