Betting on the Kansas Jayhawks (24-6)

The Jayhawks safely have the Big 12 regular season title in their bag, but there remains a huge motivation to win in Stillwater this Saturday – and that motivation is revenge. Kansas lost to Oklahoma State at home on Feb, 3, 84-79, in which the Jayhawks were held below their season average of 82.0 points per game. The Jayhawks were well-defended in that game by Oklahoma State, but doing that twice in season would be a difficult task for the Cowboys. Despite that loss, Kansas remains as one of the most dangerous offensive teams in the nation. The Jayhawks are shooting 49 percent from the field and are hitting 10.1 threes per game on a close to 40 percent conversion rate from behind the arc. Kansas also has momentum after winning all of its past five games.

In addition, the Jayhawks are 8-2 SU in their last 10 games away from Lawrence.

Betting on the Oklahoma State Cowboys (17-13)

Even with a win against Kansas this Saturday, it might just be a case of too little too late for the Cowboys with regards to their chances of getting an invite to the Big Dance. Having said that, a victory would be a nice send-off for them going into the Big 12 Tournament. Plus getting two wins over Kansas in a season is sweet, right? For the Cowboys to take down Kansas again, they will need to show the same hustle they did in the first meeting in which they outrebounded the Jayhawks, 41-28, with 16 coming off the offensive glass. Those easy second-point chances partly explains why the Cowboys shot 51.6 percent from the field. Oklahoma State is averaging 76.7 points per game, but is shooting just 43.8 percent. The Cowboys are also fourth in the Big 12 in rebounding with 40.0 per contest.
