TV Broadcast: CBS

Betting on the Kansas Jayhawks (+1.0)

Record: 22-5 Overall/10-4 Conference

The Jayhawks are coming off yet another win, as they extended their unbeaten streak to four games after an 87-71 win against the Baylor Bears. The win over the Bears says a lot about Kansas, considering that Baylor is No. 9 in the Top 25 AP Poll rankings at the time of the contest. JAlen Wilson led the Jayhawks with 21 points with 13 rebounds, while KJ Adams Jr. scored 17 points. Kansas went to the Baylor game 44th in the nation with 76.6 points per game and eighth with 17.2 assists per contest. Wilson had 30 points on 11/21 shooting in Kansas’ 83-60 home loss to TCU back in January.

Kansas is 4-0 against the spread in its last four games overall.

Betting on the TCU Horned Frogs (-1.0)

Record: 18-9 Overall/7-7 Conference

The Horned Frogs stopped a four-game losing skid last Saturday, as they took apart the Oklahoma State Cowboys at home, 100-75. With that win, TCU managed to go .500 again in conference play, while preventing a 10th loss overall this season. Emanuel Miller led TCU versus the Cowboys with 18 points, but five other Horned Frogs scored at least 10 points each. As a team, TCU shot 68.4 FG% and went 8/15 from deep. That’s the kind of form they dream to carry over to the rematch against Kansas. In the first meeting with the Jayhawks, though, it was more about TCU’s defense, as it held Kansas to only 39 FG% and 33.3 3FG% while also forcing 17 turnovers.

The Under is 6-4 in the last 10 games of TCU, which is second in Big 12 play with just 100.4 2 points allowed per 100 possessions adjusted.

Writer’s Prediction

Kansas wins, 77-72.
