The Las Vegas Raider are winless no more as they finally scored their first victor of the season by defeating the Denver Broncos at home last Sunday, 32-23. That would be the start of better things to come for Derek Carr and the Raiders. However, they will have a tough assignment ahead of them, as the Kansas City Chiefs will be waiting for them at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday. Betting Preview for the Las Vegas Raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs Week 5 Game on October 10, 2022

Betting on the Las Vegas Raiders (+7.0)

Regular Season Record: 1-3

Derek Carr was not able to find the end zone in Week 4’s win versus the Broncos, but running back Josh Jacobs picked up the scoring slack. Jacobs rushed 28 times for 144 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Davante Adams was held to a zero-TD outing by Denver, but he still came up with a game-high 101 receiving yards on nine catches and 13 targets. Kansas City is the better team on paper, but the Chiefs still are looking more beatable this year than in the previous seasons.

The Under is 6-1 in the Raiders’ last seven games after a win.

Betting on the Kansas City Chiefs (-7.0)

Regular Season Record: 3-1

The Chiefs are back to their winning ways after stumbling in Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts. Patrick Mahomes went 23/37 for 249 passing yards and three touchdowns with an interception against the Buccaneers while running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. The Chiefs haven’t been perfect this season and have looked shaky at times. But at the end of the day, they have Mahomes, who is ways better than Carr. Their defense has been suspect, but Mahomes and Travis Kelce can make it up for that on the other side of the field against the Raiders’ own defense that hasn’t been spectacular either.
