TV Broadcast: TBD

Betting on the Los Angeles Lakers (-7.5)

Regular Season Record: 52-19

The Lakers found out that disposing of Miami is going to take longer than four games after the Heat turned the table on them in a 115-104 loss. The Lakers got 25 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists for LeBron James, but Anthony Davis had a slow night, recording just 15 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Those were great numbers if it was Kyle Kuzma who put them up, but for Davis, those will have to go up. Davis, however, had to deal with foul trouble, so if he can’t keep his fouls in check in Game 4, he should be able to get back to dominating the undersized Miami frontcourt. There’s no need for the Lakers to push the panic button. After all, they still have the series lead, but they will have to defend Jimmy Butler tighter going forward, as they can’t afford the rest of the Heat to feed off the energy of their leader.

The Lakers are 5-4-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last 10 games.

Betting on the Miami Heat (+7.5)

Regular Season Record: 44-29

Jimmy Butler gave it his all in Game 3, as he was not going to let his team fall into a 3-0 series deficit. Butler poured in 40 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds in 45 minutes of action, and in the process, rejuvenated the hopes of Heat nation. Butler went 14-of-20 from the field, as he ate up every kind of defense thrown at him by the Lakers. When all else is failing, the Heat learned that they can always lean on Butler to deliver for them. But they will be in a much better place to continue their comeback if at least one of Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic will be healthy enough to play. Both were ruled out in Game 3, and it’s trending towards another missed outing for the two on Tuesday, meaning Butler will have to continue carrying the bulk of the load. Of course, the Heat still have Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, and Kelly Olynyk to provide support. Herro and Robinson combined for 30 points in Game 3, while Olnyk has now scored 41 points in the last two games.

The Heat are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games as the home team.

Writer’s Prediction

The Lakers win, 121-110.
