Both teams are going in with a strong 7-2 record, so where do the numbers differ? On the road, the Los Angeles Rams are 4-0 straight up and 3-1 against the spread (ATS). At home, the Vikings are 4-1 straight up and 6-3 against the spread. It’s no wonder that this one is expected to come down to a 2.5-point differential. It’s your call (but of course we made ours below).

Betting on the Los Angeles Rams (7-2)
The Los Angeles Rams showed the world in their recent 33-7 win against the Houston Texans that they are human and will mess up. Yes they did score 33 points but only went into the half leading 9-6. The Offense went into the locker room at half with having less than 40 total yards as the Houston Texans were walking all over the Rams.
The only reason why the Rams had the slight lead at half was due to two costly turnovers for the Texans. With the Rams keeping it close against the Texans, the true Rams regrouped and put on a show in the second half. There was no need to panic in Los Angeles as the Rams dropped 24 points in the second half and shutout the Texans.
Once again quarterback Jared Goff continued his historic season as he completed 25 pass attempts out of his 37 for 355 yards and three touchdowns. His favorite target Sunday was Robert Woods who started the explosive second half with a 94-yard deep touchdown bomb. He finished the day with 171 yards and two touchdowns.
Betting on the Minnesota Vikings (7-2)
Just like the Los Angeles Rams, the Minnesota Vikings are a young and upcoming team that is making waves throughout the NFL right now. In their recent victory, they recorded their seventh win of the season against the Washington Redskins on the road.
Minnesota is filled with speed on offense as they torched the Redskins with 38 points behind former Rams quarterback Case Keenum. Keenum finished the night with 304 passing yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions.
Keenum is getting his shot to lead this team and is doing an amazing job thus far. If Minnesota needs something to work on to prepare for their matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, they must fix up their weak secondary as they allowed Kirk Cousins over 330 passing yards in the game. This is going to be a must watch game for the ages, as there will be a new NFC threat to worry about after this one is over.
Writer’s Prediction:
I’m more confident in the OVER/UNDER as I predict Jared Goff and Case Keenum will be going back and forth in this one. Minnesota wins on a game winning field goal, but I would recommend the over/under as this game can go either way. Pick: Minnesota (-2.5)
