Betting on the Milwaukee Bucks (ODDS)
Regular Season Record: 48-19
The Bucks fell prey to the Golden State Warriors last Saturday, but that loss was just a blip in the sea of wins Milwaukee has scored so far this season. That was also just the second loss of the Bucks over a 21-game stretch. Milwaukee also has not lost back-to-back since mid-January, so that is a very good sign for the Bucks heading into this meeting with Sacramento. Of course, another great sign for the Bucks is the fact that they beat the Kings in the only meeting between these teams so far this season. The Bucks beat Sacramento at home last December, 126-113, with Giannis Antetokounmpo scoring 35 points to go with seven assists. The Greek Freak has missed the last three games, but the Bucks are still deep enough to cause headaches for the Kings even if Antetokounmpo sits again.
The Bucks are 5-3-2 against the spread in their last 10 games overall.
Betting on the Sacramento Kings (ODDS)
Regular Season Record: 40-26
For the first time since the 2005-06 season, the Kings have won at least 40 games in a single campaign. That’s what the Kings achieved when they took care of business last Saturday on the road in a 128-119 win over the Phoenix Suns. Sacramento has also now won three games in a row. Moreover, the Kings are 8-1 straight up in their last nine games, a stretch that saw them defeat the likes of the Los Angeles Clippers, New York Knicks, and of course, the Suns. Sacramento is the highest-scoring team in the NBA right now with 121.2 points per game average.
The Kings are 4-2 against the spread in their last six games overall.
Writer’s Prediction
The Kings win, 129-124.
