Game Preview
The Eagles are flying high after a big 29-10 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 1. Rookie quarterback Carson Wentz had a very solid debut with 278 passing yards and two touchdowns. Wentz connected well with Jordan Matthews, who finished with seven catches for 114 yards and a touchdown. But of course, there’s the obvious caveat that this came against a very bad Browns defense. However, the Bears aren’t exactly that much better than the Browns on either side of the ball. Jay Cutler and the offense struggled to move the ball against the Texans, while their defense allowed Houston to convert 12-of-20 third down conversions. They are set to face a rookie quarterback about to play in his first road game, though, which could lead to a one or two crucial mistakes going in the Bears’ favor.

Hot Wager
If you’re looking for a good prop bet for Monday Night, check out the first official play from the line of scrimmage. A run play is currently the big favorite at -200, while a pass play or sack is +170.
The run play looks like a very good bet for this game. On the Eagles side, head coach Doug Pederson will want to slowly get his rookie quarterback into the game, especially since this will be his first road start. That likely means a simply hand-off on the first play. And as for the Bears, Jeremy Langford ran the ball in the opening play of eight of the team’s 13 drives against the Texans, including five in a row in the second half.
Writer’s Prediction
The Bears improve upon their Week 1 performance and get the 24-21 home win on Monday Night.
