Four unbeaten teams remain in Week 9 of the 2015 NFL Regular Season. The Carolina Panthers survived overtime against the struggling Indianapolis Colts, while the Broncos, Patriots and Bengals dealt with business to keep their perfect 7-0 slates. The Green Bay Packers suffered their first loss of the season at Denver, but have a chance to pull the Panthers right down with them in a big matchup this week.

The experts over at CBS Sports are pretty high on a handful of favorites in Week 9 of the 2015 NFL Regular Season. Pete Prisco, Jason La Canfora and Ryan Wilson were unanimous in picking the Bengals, Saints, Patriots, Giants, Falcons, Broncos and Eagles to cover their respective spreads.
[sc:NFL240banner ]Of those teams, the Bengals, Patriots and Broncos are the only unbeaten teams in the AFC. The Bengals are -10.5 favorites ahead of their Thursday Night Football matchup against the Cleveland Browns, a team they’ve dominated 8-2 straight up at home. But covering the spread is a totally different ballgame; Cincinnati is just 1-2-1 ATS against the Browns in home games the past four years.
The Patriots could continue rolling, taking on the lowly Washington Redskins. Tom Brady is playing out of his mind with a league-best passer rating of 115.8. But he’ll have quite a challenge against Washington, who owns a pretty stingy pass defense with just 232 yards allowed per game.
The Broncos could continue their string of excellence as their league-best defense takes on the Indianapolis Colts’ erratic offense, which has produced 19 turnovers (second-most in the league). The Broncos rank second with 17 takeaways this year.

Bleacher Report’s Mike Norris highlights two matchups featuring AFC West teams in Week 9. He notes that Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos will be out for blood at home against Indianapolis. The Broncos lost 24-13 at home in the Divisional Round of the AFC Playoffs last season. Manning is also coming off an efficient game, passing for 340 yards against Green Bay in Week 8. Meanwhile, the Colts’ Andrew Luck is suffering from an injured shoulder and possibly bruised ribs.
Norris is also pretty high on the Oakland Raiders. No longer doormats in AFC West, the Raiders are on the verge of making the playoffs as a Wild Card team with a 4-3 slate. Quarterback Derek Carr is playing like a star with 1,793 yards with 15 touchdowns and just three interceptions this season. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh’s Ben Roethlisberger looked rusty in his last outing, while running back Le’Veon Bell will miss the rest of the season due to an MCL injury.
