The NFL season is a quarter of the way over. But don’t fret, there’s still a lot more football to be played, including some great NFL Week 5 action. This week, all five remaining undefeated teams will be on the road against playoff-calibre opposition.
Brian Hoyer was impressive in leading the Browns to victory last week. But he should be wary of throwing against a Bills defense which intercepted Joe Flacco five times.

New Orleans Saints vs Chicago Bears (EVEN) (October 6, 1:00 PM ET)
The Bears lost their undefeated record last week to the Lions. They now look to do the same to the perfect Saints, who are once again looking like Super Bowl contenders.
New Orleans is 6-1 SU in their last 7 games, but Chicago is 7-3 SU in their last 10 home games.
Kansas City Chiefs (-3) vs Tennessee Titans (+3) (October 6, 1:00 PM ET)
With Jake Locker injured, Ryan Fitzpatrick will be under center for the Titans. He’ll have a tough task for his first start of the season, going up against Justin Houston (7.5 sacks, 1st in NFL) and the rest of the strong Chiefs defense.
The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Kansas City’s last 6 games on the road, while Tennessee is 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games.
Seattle Seahawks (-3) vs Indianapolis Colts (+3) (October 6, 1:00 PM ET)
The Seahawks were tested on the road by the Texans, but they prevailed in the end to improve to 5-1 in their last 6 road games. They’ll face another road test in Andrew Luck and the Colts, who easily disposed of the Jaguars, 37-3. Indianapolis is 7-1 SU in their last 8 games at home.
Jacksonville Jaguars (+12) vs St. Louis Rams (-12) (October 6, 1:00 PM ET)
After a promising opening week victory, things have gone downhill for the St. Louis Rams. They’ll officially hit rock bottom if they fail to win at home against Blaine Gabbert and the Jaguars. [sc:NFL240banner ]
The total has gone OVER in 6 of St. Louis’s last 7 home games, while the total has gone OVER in 4 of Jacksonville’s last 6 road games.
Joe Flacco must bounce back from his terrible 5-pick performance against the Bills. He’ll try to do so against a Miami defense also hoping for improvement after allowing 413 yards and 4 touchdowns against Drew Brees on Monday Night.
Baltimore is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games when playing Miami, who are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games at home.
Philadelphia Eagles (+2) vs New York Giants (-2) (October 6, 1:00 PM ET)
A trip to the Meadowlands could be just what the Eagles need to break their recent slump. Philadelphia is 5-1 SU in their last 6 games at the Giants.
But despite an 0-4 start (with three games on the road), New York is still a stiff test for anyone at home. The Giants are 6-2 SU in their last 8 games at home.
Despite a point differential of -5 points per game, Arizona still find themselves at 2-2. The Cardinals offense could struggle for points against a Panthers defense only allowing 12 points per game (3rd in NFL).
Carolina is 4-1 SU in their last 5 games when playing on the road against Arizona, who are 10-4 SU in their last 14 games at home.
If anyone can breach the Broncos pass protection, which is already without Ryan Clady, it’s elite Dallas pass rusher DeMarcus Ware. But the Cowboys secondary should still be fearful of the best passing offense in football (364 yards per game).
Dallas is 4-1 SU in their last 5 games at home, while Denver is 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games when playing Dallas.
Houston Texans (+6.5) vs San Francisco 49ers (-6.5) (October 6, 8:30 PM ET)
The 49ers finally broke their two-game losing skid when they beat the Rams last week. The Texans will be aiming to break their own two-game slide at the Niners’ expense.
The total has gone OVER in 4 of Houston’s last 5 games while San Francisco is 16-7-1 ATS in their last 24 games at home.
San Diego Chargers (-4.5) vs Oakland Raiders (+4.5) (October 6, 11:35 PM ET)
Philip Rivers’ resurgence bodes well for the Chargers’ continued dominance against the Raiders. San Diego is 8-1 SU in their last 9 games at Oakland.
The Raiders will have something to say about that, especially with quarterback Terrelle Pryor and running back Darren McFadden set to return. The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Oakland’s last 5 games at home.
New York Jets (+9.5) vs Atlanta Falcons (-9.5) (October 7, 8:30 PM ET)
The Jets defense (283 yards allowed per game, 2nd in NFL) has been excellent so far this season. They will have their hands full on Monday Night with Matt Ryan (1,330 yards passing, 3rd in NFL) and the Falcons. Atlanta is 4-1 SU in their last 5 games when playing NY Jets, who are 3-1 ATS this season.
