The Islanders’ crappy special teams have mostly been the culprit for the team, as they are just 29th in power play percentage and 17th in killing penalties. The defense also stinks, as it allows opponents to score 3.0 goals per game. That being said, the Islanders (+10,000) still have the talent, and more importantly the time, to turn their season around.
