The Oakland Raiders have lost three straight games as they were unable to beat the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs. All of those games were important in order to make the playoffs, but with a poor performance by quarterback Derek Carr, they won’t be going anywhere.
In their recent loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the only reason why the Raiders were kept in this game until the final whistle, was only due to the poor performance by the Eagles offense. Quarterback Derek Carr was not confident all night long.
Derek Carr would only complete less than 50 % of his throws as he only ended the night with 141 passing yards. He finished the night with one touchdown and two interceptions. Carr is running into some trouble. As for the running game, it was the only spotlight on the offense as beast mode would finish the day with 95 rushing yards on 25 carries. Almost a 100 yard day for the once retired football player.
Betting on the Los Angeles Chargers (8-7)
The Los Angeles Chargers are into the playoffs if they are able to beat the Oakland Raiders and the Tennessee Titans also suffer a loss in Week 17. Can the Chargers sneak into the playoffs? They will have the upper hand against the Raiders as they have won four of the past five games.
Los Angeles has won their past three straight games at home but they might be in trouble as they come back into Los Angeles. With a huge Raiders fan base in Los Angeles, expect this game to be a huge game for the Raiders fan base.
This is going to be one of the toughest “home” games for the Chargers as Los Angeles must keep them quiet early. It should be no problem with Gordon and Rivers at the helm of the offense. In the win against the New York Jets, Rivers would complete 68% of his throws for 290 yards and a touchdown. Gordon also had over 100 total yards in the game.

This may seem like a huge trend for the Chargers, but they have the hot hand against the Oakland Raiders. This is going to be a low scoring game as the crowd of the Oakland Raiders will get into it. But expect the Chargers to win it in the 4th quarter. Pick: Chargers (-9)
