The Chargers are on a two-game skid. They lost to the San Francisco 49ers on the road in Week 10 (22-16) and then to the Kansas City Chiefs at home (30-27) in week 11. Those are two tough teams to beat, though. Arizona is dangerous, but it’s not playing football as coherently as either the 49ers or the Chiefs do. Justin Herbert was sacked five times by the Chiefs, but he might not have to worry as much about the opposing pass rush in Week 12, given the fact that Arizona is just 28th in the league in defensive sack rate.
The Chargers are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games after a loss.
Betting on the Arizona Cardinals (+4.5)
Regular Season Record: 4-7
The Cardinals got flattened by the San Francisco 49ers in Mexico City last Monday, 38-10. Arizona played its second game without the injured Kyler Murray and with Colt McCoy handling the starting quarterback duties. There’s a bigger chance that Murray will be ready to play in Week 12, considering that he was not ruled out of the San Francisco game until a day before the game. Los Angeles’ porous defense offers hope for the Cardinals, as the Chargers are allowing nearly 26 points per game and almost always let opponents overcome third downs (43.8% opponents’ success rate on 3rd downs).
The Over is 5-0 in the Cardinals’ last five games overall.
