After winning three games in a row, the Patriots have now two in a row. They fell prey to the Minnesota Vikings on the road on Thanksgiving, 33-26, then to the Buffalo Bills last Sunday at home, 24-10. Those losses were against two of the top teams in the NFL, though, unlike the Cardinals, who are a sub-500 team that is having a worse season than New England. After scoring just 10 points in the Bills game, the Patriots can put more points on the board in Week 14 opposite Arizona’s stop unit that could barely stop anyone defensively. The Cardinals are second-worst in the NFL with 26.8 points allowed per game.

The Cardinals are coming off a much-needed bye in Week 14. Prior to that, Arizona lost two in a row against the San Francisco 49ers in Mexico (38-10) and then to the Los Angeles Chargers (25-24) at home. The Cardinals’ defense has really struggled of late, but against the Patriots’ inconsistent offense that often stalls and fails in finishing drives, it’s not going to be the most surprising thing if we see its stop unit have huge success in Week 14. New England is just 25th in third-down conversion rate and 31st in offensive touchdown rate. The Patriots are also just 20th with 20.8 points per game and 24th with 318.9 total yards per outing.
The Over is 6-0 in the Cardinals’ last six games overall.
