Betting on the Arizona Cardinals (+3.0)

Regular Season Record: 4-9

Arizona‘s 2022 season is a forgettable one. It just got worse for the Cardinals in Week 14 with quarterback Kyler Murray suffering a serious injury in Monday’s 27-13 home loss to the New England Patriots. The injury will likely put him on the shelf for the rest of the season. That means Arizona will be rolling with Colt McCoy as its QB1 going forward. McCoy went 27/40 for 246 passing yards and zero touchdowns with an interception versus the Pats. Plus, look for the Cardinals to rely more on their ground attack which is being headed by running back James Conner. The veteran tailback was a bright spot on the team in Week 14, rushing for 85 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries while also catching six passes for 29 yards. It doesn’t seem it’s’ going to take a lot from Arizona’s offense to keep in step with Denver’s attack which is last in the NFL with just 14.9 points scored per game.

The Cardinals are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games versus a team with a

Betting on the Denver Broncos (-3.0)

Regular Season Record: 3-10

The Broncos could also be without their top quarterback in Week 15, with Russell Wilson suffering a concussion in last Sunday’s 34-28 home loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Sure, missing Wilson is not ideal for Denver, but in case he couldn’t go ultimately in Week 15, the Broncos trust Brett Rypien to be just fine. Rypien can hope that wide receiver Jerry Jeudy will still be hot. Jeudy caught three touchdown passes in the Chiefs game, and considering the Cardinals have the worst scoring defense in the NFL, he could be due for another explosion downfield. The Cardinals might be missing a key starter on defense with defensive end Zach Allen suffering a hand injury in Week 14. If Allen is absent in Week 14, that would be a huge plus for Denver’s passing attack.

The Broncos are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games against Arizona.
