TV Broadcast: CBS

Betting on the Kansas City Chiefs (-9.0)

Regular Season Record: 9-3

The Chiefs deserve a pass for losing in Week 14 to the Cincinnati Bengals, 27-24. For one, that was a very good Bengals team with an explosive offense that was also playing on home turf. Well, Kansas City can easily turn things around and go back to its wining ways this coming Sunday, with just Denver in front of them. The Broncos’ un-watchable offense has been a huge story this season and it doesn’t seem as though Denver is making any significant progress. The Chiefs, even when they lose, look decent at the very least offensively. Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and rookie running back Isiah Pacheco lead Kansas City’s offense which is tops in the NFL with 29.2 points per game.

The Chiefs are 10-3 against the spread in their last 13 games versus Denver.

Betting on the Denver Broncos (+9.0)

Regular Season Record: 3-9

Say what you want to say about how ridiculously bad the Broncos’ offense has been this season, but its defense continues to be solid. In fact, the Broncos are No. 2 in the NFL with only 17.0 points allowed per game and third with just 304.6 total yards surrendered per contest. The Broncos are especially terrific in preventing opposing teams from getting fresh sets of downs after third downs. Denver is second in the NFL with opponents succeeding just in 31.9 percent of third-down attempts. Scoring in the red zone is also tough against Denver, which lets teams record just a 32.14 red-zone touchdown defense – the best in the NFL.

The Under is 5-0 in the Broncos’ last five home games.
