The Seahawks rode their defense to help them get a win in Week 6 against the visiting Cardinals. Seattle sacked Kyler Murray six times and intercepted him once while limiting the entire Arizona offense down to zero offensive touchdowns. The Seahawks’ defense might have just turned the corner and that’s bad news for their upcoming opponents, as that will be a great complement to their offense that is top-10 in the NFL with 24.3 points per game. Rookie running back Kenneth Walker stayed hot, rushing for 97 yards and a touchdown in the Arizona game.
The Seahawks are 9-3-1 against the spread in their last 13 games in Week 7.
Betting on the Los Angeles Chargers (-6.5)
Regular Season Record: 4-2
The Chargers are now on a three-game win streak. Before taking down Denver, the Chargers beat the Houston Texans and the Cleveland Browns on the road in Weeks 4 and 5, respectively. Los Angeles struggled offensively against the Broncos’ defense but still got the job done thanks in large part to kicker Dustin Hopkins, who went 4/4 on his field-goal attempts. However, Hopkins appears to have suffered an injury in Week 6, so his status for Week 7 could be up in the air. There is also a bigger chance now that wide receiver Keenan Allen is finally going to return to action after missing multiple games due to a hamstring issue.
The Chargers are 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five games in Week 7.
