The 2021-22 PGA TOUR season heads over to Michigan this week for the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic. With that said, here are some of the favorites, sleepers, and long shots to win this upcoming golfing event.
Cantlay is 14 of 16 this season with nine top 10s and 11 top 25s. He’s got a win this year, topping the field at the 2022 Zurich of New Orleans. He comes into this week’s event in Detroit, having made the cut in all his last five starts.
Finau is on a high after winning the 2022 3M Open last Sunday. He is now 3 of 3 in his last three starts and has finished no worse than second in two of his last five starts. Overall this season, Finau is 16 of 21 with four top 10s.
After missing the cut at the 2022 Genesis Scottish Open, Zalatoris had a T28 at 2022 The Open Championship before taking a rest last week. He is still viewed as a formidable contender at the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic, considering he has a total of eight top 10s in 20 starts this season, so far.

Kuchar has not won an event so far this season, but he’s been among the most consistent in making cuts. In fact, in 17 starts this season, the 44-year-old Kuchar is 14 of 17 with three top 10s, which includes a T2 at the 2022 Valero Texas Open and a T3 at the 2022 RBC Heritage.

In his last and only start so far in his career at Detroit Golf Club, Streelman finished 35th.
