Betting on the Sacramento Kings (27-44)

Point Spread: +17.5

This is just another game where the Kings will be hoping for solid performances from their promising youngsters. And speaking of which, they recently received one from rookie Buddy Hield, who equaled his season-high of 21 points in what was a 116-98 home loss to the Bucks on Wednesday.

The former Sooners guard went 8-for-16 from the field, and has finished with at least 10 points in 10 of his last 11 contests. His fellow rookie Skal Labissiere has garnered some attention, too, piecing together a four-game double-digit scoring stretch prior to the loss to Milwaukee.

Besides the rookies, Willie Cauley-Stein is also growing right before our very eyes. The Kentucky product is averaging 13.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game in 14 games since the Boogie trade. Cauley-Stein also matched a season-high of four blocks against the Bucks.

Sacramento is 3-7 SU and 4-6 ATS in its last 10 road games.

Betting on the Golden State Warriors (57-14)

Point Spread: -17.5

Ever since their three-game losing stretch—highlighted by a 107-85 loss in San Antonio—the Warriors are finally playing like the Warriors team we’ve been accustomed to over the past couple of years.

They’re on a five-game run as of this writing, and are likely to make it six in a row tonight against a Sacramento squad that’s on the initial stages of its rebuild. Plus, Boogie’s out of the picture now, so there’s literally no one in Kings’ roster who can pose as a serious threat to Golden State.

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have been red-hot in the last five contests, averaging 24.4 points and 27.0 points, respectively. The latter is also shooting 55.3 percent from the field, including 53.2 percent from down town.

The Dubs, who are still patiently waiting for Kevin Durant to return from his knee injury, are 9-1 SU and 5-4-1 ATS in their last 10 games at Oracle Arena.
