The Buccaneers are still winless in the preseason. They lost to the Miami Dolphins in Week 1, 26-24, and to the Tennessee Titans on the road in Week 2, 13-3. Kyle Trask passed for 105 yards and an interception on just 11/24 completions, while Blaine Gabbert went 3/5 for 13 yards. The offensive line of the Bucs took a hit with another injury, and that could play a huge factor for the team in the upcoming battle against Indianapolis. Nevertheless, running back Ke’Shawn Vaugh looked fine with 54 rushing yards on 10 carries versus Tennessee.
The Over is 3-1 in the Buccaneers’ last four preseason games overall.
Betting on the Indianapolis Colts (odds)
Regular Season Record: 0-2
Like Tampa Bay, the Colts are still without a win in the 2022 NFL preseason, though they have looked competitive in their two losses. They were taken down by the Buffalo Bills on the road in Week 1, 27-24, then again by the Detroit Lions at home in Week 2, 27-26. The Colts’ offense is looking fine so far, despite some errors. Against the Lions, Sam Ehlinger went 9/11 for 136 passing yards and a couple of touchdowns while Dezmon Patmon had 103 receiving yards and a touchdown on five receptions.
The Colts are 4-4-2 against the spread in their last 10 preseason games.
