The Horned Frogs are riding high, and should be. Currently sitting at 7-0 overall and 4-0 in BIG 12 Conference play, TCU is in the fourth and final playoff spot if the season were to end today. Iowa State is looking like the team to beat this year in the Big 12. Since starting quarterback Jacob Park left the team with personal issues, the Cyclones have won three in a row, with two wins coming against top 25 opponents. Now the Cyclones are ranked 25th in the country. Most recently Iowa State destroyed the then 24th ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders at home, 31-13. The Cyclones generated 400 yards in the win.
The Cyclones defense stood up the the challenge last week against the usually high powered Red Raiders passing attack. Iowa State held Texas Tech to 336 yards of offense.
