[sc:NCAA240banner ]The Wildcats remained unblemished in conference play (5-0 in Big 12) after annihilating the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 48-14. It won’t be that easy for the Wildcats next week, though, when they meet the TCU Horned Frogs, who are hot on their heels with a 4-1 conference record. Riding their hyped rushing attack, the Frogs were able to carve out a close 31-30 win over the West Virginia Mountaineers in Week 10. TCU is averaging 214.1 rushing yards per game. Its backfield will be tested heavily by the Wildcats’ defense against the rush that limits opponents to just 101 yards per outing.
Writer’s prediction: TCU wins, 35-27.

Alabama is on the outside looking in for a CFP top four spot. It’s going to be easier said than done, however, as the Tigers seemed to have found their groove, stringing together three-straight wins, including a 10-7 victory over Ole Miss that brought the Tigers back into the Top 25 picture.
