The 35-year-old lefty is 0-1 with a 5.11 ERA in two career starts at Camden Yards. Valdez made his second straight start on Jun. 8, allowing just an earned run on five hits in 7.0 innings of a 4-1 loss at home to the Orioles. In 11.0 innings of duty on the mound in games he started, Valdez has allowed just an earned run on seven hits while striking out 10.
