Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (+5000)
Currently ranked 27th in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series standings, Stenhouse will look to make some noise this weekend in Virginia. He hasn’t been making any so far this season, except for a 10th-place finish at the 2022 Wise Power 400 at Auto Club Speedway, but with 11 top 20s and a pair of top 10s in 17 career starts at Richmond Raceway, there should be some decent hope on the JTG Daugherty Racing chances of snatching the checkered flag this weekend. Stenhouse has also cracked the top 20 in each of his last four short tracks races, including a third-place showing at the 2022 Busch Light Clash Heat Race 1 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Justin Haley (+8000)
Haley, meanwhile, has been a bit better than Stenhouse this season, as the Richard Childress Racing driver sits in 21st place in the standings following a 15th-place performance last Sunday at the 2022 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas. Haley has only raced twice so far in his NASCAR Cup Series career at Richmond Raceway and both are forgettable performances not worthy of discussion. That being said, Haley’s been consistently making the top 20 in his races this year to hope that he can finally get over the hump and find himself in the top 5 of 10 in any of the coming races.
Erik Jones (+4000)
Jones is on the outside looking in of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs picture with 143 points – seven back of Daniel Suarez, who is 16th overall. The 23XI Racing driver is coming off a ninth-place showing at the 2022 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix. He now has two top 10s in seven starts this season. Moreover, Jones has cracked the top 10 in all of his last four short-track starts.
