2015 NFL Week 10 Fantasy Sleepers

Kirk Cousins – Quarterback, Washington Redskins

[sc:NFL240banner ]Kirk Cousins probably isn’t fit to be a starter for any fantasy team out there. But facing the lackluster defense of the New Orleans Saints makes Cousins a perfect plug-in for injured starters (Ben Roethlisberger) or those on byes (Philip Rivers and Matt Ryan). The Saints have allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season. Having wide receiver DeSean Jackson back in form should also help Cousins put points on the board.

James White – Running Back, New England Patriots

Dion Lewis is lost for the season with an ACL injury, leaving the New England Patriots in need of a pass-catching running back. Enter James White, who at 5-foot-10 and 205 pounds fits the bill for a receiving threat running back. White faces a good matchup against the New York Giants, who have allowed the fourth-most receptions to running backs this season. Catching passes from Tom Brady should also help.

Kamar Aiken – Wide Receiver, Baltimore Ravens

Kamar Aiken

Baltimore’s No. 1 receiver Steve Smith Sr. is now gone due to a torn Achilles, which pushes Kamar Aiken into the spotlight. Aiken has just one game with double-digit fantasy points this season. But without Smith garnering the most targets while facing a patchy Jaguars secondary, Aiken should be able to put plenty of points on the board for your fantasy team.

Richard Rodgers – Tight End, Green Bay Packers

Richard Rodgers is lingering around in the waiver wire in most football fantasy leagues, which is quite a shame considering he’s catching passes from one of the league’s best quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers. The starting tight end for Green Bay caught five passes for 19 yards in Week 9, but his fantasy stock was boosted by two touchdowns . Rodgers should be able to haul in a scoring pass against Detroit in Week 10, which has allowed a touchdown against tight ends in six of eight games this season.

Greg Zuerlein – Kicker, St. Louis Rams

Greg Zuerlein

Greg Zuerlein hasn’t been pretty good this year. But he had his biggest game of the year last week, making 4 of 5 field goals, including two from 50-plus yards. He nailed a big 61-yarder in an overtime loss to Minnesota last week. Considering that he faces a Chicago team, which has allowed the 27th-most points to opposing kickers this season, Zuerlein is set to wow owners this week.

Baltimore Ravens Defense

The Baltimore Ravens’ defense has sucked for much of the season. They’ve failed to force turnovers in five straight weeks heading into their Week 9 bye. They’ve also two points or less in four straight weeks. But all that could change once Baltimore faces the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10. The Jags have allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing defenses this season. They’ve allowed the Buccaneers, Texans, Bills and Jets to average 12.8 fantasy points against them in their last four games.
