Expert Names to Look Out for at Glen Abbey GC
Jeff Shain Tim Clark, Jim Furyk, Hunter Mahan

PGATour.com still doesn’t have its picks for the upcoming 2015 RBC Canadian Open. That may be due to the British Open extending for another day due to a storm. However, the site did give a few names to look out for at the tournament to come at Glen Abbey GC courtesy of Jeff Shain.

Tim Clark tops the list as the defending champion. He birdied five of his last eight holes for a one-shot victory at Royal Montreal last year, overcoming a three-shot gap at the start of the final round. Clark may be sharp heading into this tournament after being forced to cancel his British Open plans because of visa issues. He’ll be free to focus on becoming the Canadian Open’s second back-to-back champ since 1951.

Jim Furyk was the other, winning back-to-back titles in 2006 and 2007. One should also look out for Hunter Mahan, who walked away from a 36-hole lead two years ago at Glen Abbey GC to attent to the birth of his first child. He should be free to play his best golf without any distractions this time around.

This is just a sneak peak of experts picks and predictions to come for the Canadian Open. Be sure to check back after the conclusion of the British Open as more experts sound off on their picks for this event. In the meantime, create a betting account now and get yourself ready for profitable golf futures.

Expert Pick
Top Bet Jason Day

While the rest of the golf world wait for the British Open to finish, we here at Top Bet already surveyed the field of competitors ready to tee off at the Canadian Open. We’re high on Jason Day to win this tournament due to his stellar form of late. Day finished ninth at the U.S. Open with an even 280 and is currently ranked fourth at the on-going British Open.

The Australian also has four top five finishes in tournaments this season, including a win at the Farmers Insurance Open in February. Day should be one of the leaders at the Canadian Open considering his strong showings. Having a top five finish at the British Open may also help propel him to a big win at the Canadian Open.
