2016 Dean & DeLuca Invitational Expert Picks and Predictions

ProGolfNow

Expert Winner
Sam Belden Jordan Spieth

Sam Belden has made his choice and it is Jordan Spieth (+650) who he thinks will win the Dean & DeLuca Invitational this week. What makes Spieth such a good pick in his eyes is his outstanding record here at Colonial. The Texan has never missed out on the top 15 in three career starts here and even tied for second place in this event last year. The two-time major champion has been playing some solid golf of late as well, notching top-20s in six of his last seven starts. With the form that he is in right now and his experience with this particular golf course, Spieth has an excellent chance of nabbing the title this coming weekend.

Expert Winner
Troy Klongerbo Jordan Spieth

Troy Klongerbo of U.S. Golf TV also believes that Jordan Spieth will finally end his title drought and win the Dean & DeLuca Invitational this week. Spieth tied for 18th in his last start at the AT&T Byron Nelson, shooting a 10-under-par total of 270. It could have been much better for Spieth if not for a disastrous 74 in the final round.

What makes Spieth such a huge threat in every golf event that he competes on is his excellent touch on the putting greens. He is tops in the PGA Tour in putting average with a remarkable 1.689 clip. That will be a major weapon for the two-time major champion when navigating the delicate greens of the Colonial course.
