2016 FedEx St. Jude Classic Expert Picks and Predictions

ProGolfNow

Expert Winner
Sam Belden Brooks Koepka

Sam Belden has made his choice and it is Brooks Koepka (+1,200) who he thinks will win the FedEx St. Jude Classic this week. What makes Koepka such a good pick in his eyes is his outstanding record here in Memphis. The American has never missed out on the top 20 in two career starts here and even tied for third place in this event last year.

Koepka has been playing some solid golf of late as well, notching top-10s in two of his last six starts including a runner-up finish at the AT&T Byron Nelson last month. With the form that he is in right now and his experience with this particular golf course, Koepka has an excellent chance of nabbing the title this coming weekend.

U.S. Golf TV

Expert Winner
Troy Klongerbo Harris English

Troy Klongerbo of U.S. Golf TV believes that Harris English (+2,000) will win the FedEx St. Jude Classic this week. He has been playing some excellent golf of late, grabbing top-20 finishes in two of his last four starts on the PGA Tour. English finished second in his last start at the Dean & DeLuca Invitational, shooting a 14-under-par total of 266. The 26-year-old has had some success in the St. Jude Classic in the past as well, grabbing the championship here in 2013.

What makes English such a huge threat in every golf event that he competes on is his deft touch on the putting greens. He is 12th in the PGA Tour in strokes gained via putting with a solid .603 average. That will be a major weapon for English when navigating the delicate greens of the TPC Southwind course.
