2016 Wide Receiver Fantasy Points Projections

1. Antonio Brown (Pittsburgh Steelers)

2015 Stats: 1,834 receiving yards, 10 receiving touchdowns

2015 Fantasy Points: 243.0

2016 Fantasy Points Projection: 245

Brown was an antelope on the field last season. He put up insane stats as the go-to guy on the high-powered Steelers’ offense and is primed for another rocking campaign. With Martavis Bryant suspended for the whole season and Le’Veon Bell out for the first three games, Brown should have a terrific head start this 2016.

2. Odell Beckham Jr. (New York Giants)

2015 Stats: 1,450 receiving yards, 13 receiving touchdowns

2015 Fantasy Points: 216.0

2016 Fantasy Points Projection: 205

You can’t go wrong with OBJ. Beckham had another stellar campaign last season despite regression in some numbers compared to those of his rookie year. Nevertheless, Beckham is a freakishly athletic receiver, who’ll get high volume targets and offers big plays potential each game.

3. Julio Jones (Atlanta Falcons)

2015 Stats: 1,871 receiving yards, 8 receiving touchdowns

2015 Fantasy Points: 231.0

2016 Fantasy Points Projection: 216

Jones began the 2015 season by murdering the Eagles’ secondary on his way to a 26-point Week 1. He never looked back after that, as he led the NFL in targets (2013) and receiving yards (1,871). Jones’ body is also doing a better job of holding it together, as the wide receiver missed just one game over the last two seasons. (He played in just five games in 2013.) All signs point to another tremendous season for the Falcons’ downfield workhorse.

4. DeAndre Hopkins (Houston Texans)

2015 Stats: 1,521 receiving yards, 11 receiving touchdowns

2015 Fantasy Points: 211

2016 Fantasy Points Projection: 194

Despite a parade of mediocre quarterbacks last season, the Texans were still able to witness Hopkins do remarkable things on the field such as hauling down 111 catches, good for third overall in the NFL. Hopkins will have a better quarterback to hook up with this season in Super Bowl champion Brock Osweiler so he should be drafted high again in fantasy leagues.

5. Dez Bryant (Dallas Cowboys)

2015 Stats: 401 receiving yards, 3 receiving touchdowns

2015 Fantasy Points: 54.0

2016 Fantasy Points Projection: 180

Thousands of fantasy owners’ lives were wrecked last season when Bryant injured his foot right in the very first game of the Cowboys. He missed several weeks and played in just nine games overall. With a fresh start and surrounded by better Dallas offensive weapons to take away some of the opposing defenses’ attention off him and a healthy Tony Romo, Bryant is expected to have a huge bounce-back year.
