TV Broadcast: TNT

Betting on the Boston Celtics (-3.0)

Regular Season Record: 57-25

Boston is very much still in the series after winning Games 4 and 5. In their 110-97 victory in Game 5 last Thursday, the Celtics got impressive performances from a number of their players. Derrick White paced the Celtics with 24 points, while Marcus Smart had 23. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown each scored 21 points. Boston is getting it together and playing like the powerhouse team they were during the regular season and in the first two rounds of the playoffs. Their 3-point shooting is also clicking, and that’s bad news for the Heat.

The Celtics are 13-6 against the spread in their last 19 games versus a team with a winning record.

Betting on the Miami Heat (+3.0)

Regular Season Record: 44-38

The Heat must be starting to feel some pressure whether they admit it or not. Still, no team in the history of the NBA has ever successfully pulled off a comeback after being down 0-3. Plus, the Heat will be playing at home in Game 6, which would be their last in the series. Expect Jimmy Butler and company to go all out. Gabe Vincent, who’s been a crucial piece for the Heat this postseason, might return to action after being absent in Game 5 with a lower-body injury. So far in the series, the Heat are averaging 11.6 points per game on 50.2 percent shooting from the floor.

The Heat are 10-4 against the spread in their last 14 games after a day of rest.

Writer’s Prediction

The Celtics win, 112-102.
