Brooks Koepka (+1,400)

One golfer who can definitely make a run at the title this week is Brooks Koepka. The American came so close to ending his title drought at the PGA Championship last week, losing by just five shots to eventual champion Jimmy Walker. Koepka has been playing some excellent golf of late, finishing in the top-13 in each of his last four starts, including runner-up finishes at the Byron Nelson and FedEx St. Jude Classic.

Key to Koepka’s resurgence has been his outstanding play with the driver. He is 15th in the PGA Tour in driving distance this season, averaging 303.3 yards per drive. That powerful swing will come in handy when tackling the 6,841-yard, par-70 River Highlands course.

Paul Casey (+2,200)

Looking for a worthy sleeper this week? How about Paul Casey? Yes, it has been seven long years since Casey last won on the PGA Tour, but he has a great chance of ending that barren run this week at the Travelers Championship. The Englishman came close to winning this event last year, losing in a two-man playoff to Bubba Watson.

If that wasn’t enough, Casey is starting to rediscover the form that made him one of the best golfers in the world before. He finished tied for 10th in the recently-concluded PGA Championship. With the form that he is in right now and his experience with this TPC River Highlands course, expect Casey to post some red numbers and contend for the title once again this week.

J.B. Holmes (+2,500)

Another golfer who can definitely surprise this week is J.B. Holmes. The 34-year-old has been playing some solid golf of late, notching two top-25 finishes in his last five starts. He did miss the cut, though, in his last start at the PGA Championship. While Holmes doesn’t have a lot of experience on this course, he did finish in the top 40 in the 2012 Travelers Championship, his most recent appearance in this event. That will give Holmes the confidence to perform strongly at TPC River Highlands this week.
