Sleeper Picks
Peter Uihlein
Chad Campbell
J.J. Henry
Roberto Castro
Bob Estes

For PGATour.com’s Rob Bolton, one name immediately jumps into mind when it comes to the sleeper front for this week’s FedEx St. Jude Classic. And that name is Peter Uihlein. He has been playing some solid golf this year, surviving all 13 cuts in 2017. Out of those 13 tournaments, four have resulted in top-10s for Uihlein. He finished tied for 25th at last week’s Memorial Tournament wherein in led the field in strokes gained: off-the-tee and ranked fifth in birdie-or-better percentage. Uihlein is pegged at +6,500 to win this week.

Chad Campbell is another golfer who has caught the eye of Bolton. The PGA Tour veteran already has four top-15s this season, including a T13 at TPC Four Seasons three weeks ago. He loves playing in Memphis as well, going 7-for-7 with a pair of top 10s at TPC Southwind since 2010. Campbell, who is currently 88th in the FedExCup standings, is listed at +10,000 to end his title drought this weekend.

J.J. Henry’s another guy who’s playing some solid golf as we speak. The Texan is 12-for-20 on the season with one top 10 and another four top 25s, all of which have come in his last 11 Tour starts. Henry’s personal best in the FedEx St. Jude Classic was a T13 in 2014.

Rounding out Bolton’s sleeper picks are Roberto Castro and Bob Estes. Although Castro has missed the cut in eight of his last nine starts, his record at TPC Southwind makes him a worthy sleeper in Bolton’s opinion. He’s 3-for-4 in this tournament, including a T18 back in 2013. Estes, on the other hand, has missed only three cuts in 24 starts at TPC Southwind. The 51-year-old leads the PGA Tour in one-putt percentage and ranks sixth in three-putt avoidance and 15th in scrambling.

Sleeper Picks
Kyle Stanley
Ian Poulter
Kevin Tway
Graeme McDowell
Jamie Lovemark

Looking for a worthy sleeper? How about Kyle Stanley? The 29-year-old is in a rich vein of form, nabbing top-10s in two of his last three starts, including a T4 at last month’s Players Championship. His odds of winning the FedEx St. Jude Classic are priced at +3,500. Also playing well at the moment are Ian Poulter and Kevin Tway. Poulter (+5,500) has top-35 finishes in four of his last five starts, including a surprise runner-up showing at the Players Championship. Tway (+5,500), on the other hand, has finished in the top-5 in three of his last six tournaments.

Rounding out TopBet’s sleeper picks are Graeme McDowell and Jamie Lovemark. McDowell (+5,500) tied for 29th at last week’s Memorial Tournament, his eighth top-30 finish this season. Lovemark, on the other hand, is fresh off a highly-successful qualifying campaign for the 117th U.S. Open, tying for fourth with a 10-under-par total of 134. Momentum is definitely with Lovemark who finished tied for 10th at the Memorial Tournament last weekend.
