Jason Kokrak

Looking for a great sleeper this week? How about the hard-hitting Jason Kokrak? The American made quite an impression at the Northern Trust Open last February, losing by just a single shot to eventual champion Bubba Watson. He has now finished in the top-30 in four of his last eight starts.

What makes Kokrak such a huge threat in every golf tournament that he competes on is his incredible power off the tee. He’s fourth in the PGA Tour in driving distance, averaging 308.9 yards per drive this season. That powerful swing will come in handy when tackling the difficult 7,101-yard, par-71 Harbour Town course.

Charley Hoffman

Talk about consistency. Charley Hoffman survived his eighth consecutive cut at the Masters, finishing in a tie for 29th with a seven-over-par total of 295. Hoffman has now finished in the top-30 in three of his last five starts. Hoffman will look to extend that made-cut streak at Harbour Town this week, the site of his top-10 finishes back in 2012 and 2013.

Hoffman loves playing in this course as evidenced by the UNLV product not missing a cut in this event in more than a decade. With the form that he is in right now and his experience with this Harbour Town course, expect Hoffman to post some red numbers and contend for the championship this week.

Luke Donald

If there’s one golfer primed for a breakthrough win at the RBC Heritage this week, it’s got to be Luke Donald. He has notched five top-3 finishes in his last seven appearances here at Harbour Town. Donald has been playing some solid golf of late, finishing in the top 30 in two of his last three starts. The Englishman is coming off a 26th-place showing at the Puerto Rico Open last month.

Key to Donald’s resurgence has been his stellar play from tee to green. He is 57th in the PGA Tour in strokes gained in that particular department with a .510 average. That will be useful when tackling the treacherous fairways of the Harbour Town Golf Links course.
