Expert Winner
Sam Belden Patrick Reed

Sam Belden has made his pick and it is Patrick Reed (+1,400) who he thinks will win the Wyndham Championship this week. The Texan has been playing some excellent golf of late, grabbing top-13 finishes in each of his last three PGA Tour starts. Reed scored a final-round 64 to finish just outside of the top-10 in the Men’s Golf event in the Rio Olympics. The 26-year-old has had some success in Greensboro in the past as well, capturing the Wyndham title back in 2013.

What makes Reed such a huge threat in every golf tournament that he competes on is his excellent play around the greens. He is eighth in the PGA Tour in strokes gained in that particular department with an incredible .448 average. That will be a major weapon for Reed when navigating the tough Sedgefield course.

Bleacher Report

Expert Winner
Ben Alberstadt Jim Furyk

Ben Alberstadt of Bleacher Report has made his choice and it is Jim Furyk (+1,600) who he believes will win the Wyndham Championship this week. The 46-year-old has been playing some solid golf of late, mustering two top-13 finishes in his last three starts, including a fifth-place showing at the Travelers Championship. Furyk is riding high on the heels of a stunning 58 in the final round of that aforementioned tournament. Furyk also knows his way around the Sedgefield course as evidenced by his ninth-place finish in this event back in 2011 (only appearance). Look for the Tour veteran to be in the hunt once again this coming weekend.
