The NFL has somewhat learned their lesson in the last year. They’ve decided to continue their color rush jerseys even after last season’s color blindness debacle. This time around the league has outfitted every one of its 32 teams in a new or familiar shade. Some teams will look sleek and likely sell a ton of new jerseys. While others, well, not so much.
Let’s rank the best of the best and the worst of the worst in this 2016 NFL Color Rush Top Ten.

Top Ten 2016 NFL Color Rush Jerseys Ranked
10 – The Worst – Washington Redskins
Redskins owner Dan Snyder was recently at a Burger King when he accidentally put mustard on his ketchup soaked french fry. He had a revelation. He immediately threw his tray in the air and ran to the Nike headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon with his sensational new thought! None of that was true. What is a fact though, is that the Redskins color rush ensemble could be the ugliest thing to hit the NFL since the Denver Broncos did that thing they did a few years ago.
9. Philadelphia Eagles
Here’s a crazy idea guys, let’s debut a uniform that already debuted years ago. The Eagles marketing department took the week off apparently.
8. Kansas City Chiefs
Here’s a nutty idea everyone, let’s wear our road pants at home! Boom. Color Rushed!
7. Jacksonville Jaguars
Well, nobody liked our all gold/poop unis last year, meh, let’s bring em back! Maybe people will learn to love them. Boom. Color Rushed!
6. Seattle Seahawks
We have to give Seattle credit for going all out and trying something different. Honestly, those jerseys could work really well with the blue pants. However, they’re not using blue pants. Instead these guys look like they should be on the label for creamed corn.
5. Getting Better – Minnesota Vikings
They look like your sons high school team and that’s what we love about them. Total throwback look that reminds us of the good old days. Run on the field, hear the band in the stands and watch the cheerleaders in their one-piece sweater skirts. Ahh good times.
4. New Orleans Saints
Again with a throwback look. It’s white, it’s gold, it’s simple, it’s beautiful. Nicely done New Orleans. Nicely done!
3. San Diego Chargers
Of all teams, you’d think the Chargers would go to town on the powder blue. To their credit though, the Panthers and Titans have already dressed like smurfs, so they decided to go with something a little more royal. They look sharp. They’re total throwbacks to a better time in San Diego and they may be one of the few things on the field to actually get Chargers fans excited this year.
2. Detroit Lions
Not too insane and yet right on the money. Black and blue is a tremendous combination and we have to give the Lions credit for not simply making them all silver or all blue and taking the easy way out like the zero-imagination Colts.
1. The Best – Denver Broncos
The old bucket. The old jersey. Some orange pants. We can’t say they exactly went three for three, but they definitely are the best of this year’s new releases. Everyone from coast to coast can agree the Broncos retros are their best unis ever. We’re happy they’re back.
Boom. Color Rushed!
