Western Michigan vs. Ohio | Ohio (+18.5) |
Colorado vs. Washington | Colorado (+7.5) |
Temple vs. No. 20 Navy | Temple (-3) |
It’s possible that Western Michigan gets a ticket to the Cotton Bowl. That possibility could easily be thrown out the window, however, if the Broncos lose to Ohio in Friday’s MAC title game. For Bleacher Report’s David Kenyon, though, it’s not a question whether Western Michigan could beat Ohio to take home the conference championship and complete an undefeated season.
Instead, it’s if Western Michigan could cover the large -19 spread as the favorite. While he implied that the Bobcats are likely battling hurt in this one, the team’s track record this season of keeping the game score close is both a testament to the Bobcats’ fighting spirit and a reason why he’s choosing them against the spread.

Oklahoma State vs Oklahoma | Oklahoma State (+11) |
It’s an absolute bedlam in Norman this Saturday with the rivalry game between the Cowboys and the Sooners also serving as the Big 12 championship game. Rich Cirminiello sees the game as a terrific showdown between quarterbacks Mason Rudolph and Baker Mayfield.
Cirminiello also mentions a few similarities between the two programs such as both having shay defenses and astounding passing games. That said, he believes that the stronger backfield tandem of Samaje Perine and Joe Mixon will be the difference maker that’ll lead the Sooners to a straight up victory.

It was just three years ago when the Crimson Tide got derailed off their path to a BCS national title when fierce rival Auburn handed them a loss in the Iron Bowl. Win or lose this Saturday against the Gators, however, Alabama’s seat in the CFP appears to be virtually locked.
Still, pride is on the line, as ‘Bama wants no less than an SEC title and a clean record to finish the regular season. Rob Doster of Athlon Sports has no doubt that the Crimson Tide will roll past the Gators, but not to the extent that Saban’s boys will cover the towering +24 point spread
