With the second-longest losing streak in the league, the Denver Broncos are desperate for a win. On the other side, the Dolphins have lost five-straight games and are giving up 35 points per game during that stretch. On the road, the Denver Broncos are currently 0-5 straight up and against the spread (yikes!) while the Miami Dolphins are 2-3 straight up and 1-2-2 against the spread, at home.

Betting on the Denver Broncos (3-8)
The Denver Broncos season has been a disappointment, and a lot of that has to do with the play of the offense, especially the quarterback play. After winning three of the first four games of the season, they come into this game having lost six straight, and if things don’t improve there might be some coaching changes made at the end of the season.
The Broncos have tried three quarterbacks this year, and none of them have had much success. Paxton Lynch started the last game but suffered an ankle injury, so they will turn back to Trevor Siemian who actually played well towards the end of the game. He threw for 149 yards and two touchdowns in less then a half.
To win this game it’s going to come down to the offensive side of the ball. The Dolphins don’t have a great offense, and the Broncos defense should be able to keep them in check. They won’t win though unless the offense does enough to score at least 20 points probably. They need to get going early, and hopefully they can lead that momentum to a win.
Betting on the Miami Dolphins (4-7)
On the other side of this match up is the Miami Dolphins who’s season was ruined when Ryan Tannehill went down with injury, they just didn’t seem to know it then. They tried to bring in Jay Cutler and he wasn’t the answer, and Matt Moore who was already on the roster wasn’t the answer either.
Who will start in this game for the Dolphins is still in question. Jay Cutler is still in the concussion protocol and is questionable for this game. If he can’t get Moore would get the start, and he is going to have to play a lot better if they want to come out ahead in this game. To win this game the offense is going to need to find a way to have success against a very good Denver Broncos defense.
They need to establish the run early, and hopefully that will make life easier on whichever quarterback is called on to start this game.
Writer’s Prediction
This game is basically a pick em, and I think it will play out like that for most of the afternoon. I think the Dolphins will make a couple of more plays down the stretch of the game, and that will lead to a slight upset over the Denver Broncos, and might just be what get’s the Broncos to make some changes in their coaching staff. Pick: Dolphins (+2)
