The Indiana Pacers have locked up a spot in the playoffs, but they’re not about to rest with the Golden State Warriors coming into town this Thursday. A win over the Warriors would mean a regular-season sweep for the Pacers. As for the Warriors, they are looking to generate momentum heading into the postseason, and beating Victor Oladipo and company would help them with that.

Betting on the Golden State Warriors (56-21)
Golden State is limping towards the end of the regular season, as the Warriors continue to nurse a number of injuries to some of their players, including Stephen Curry. That said, at least the Warriors will have Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green for Thursday’s rematch with the Pacers. All four of the Warriors’ All-Stars were missing when they were defeated by Indiana, 92-81 in Oakland on Mar. 27. With Durant, Thompson, and Green back, expect the Warriors to shoot better than the 40.7 field goal shooting percentage they had in the first meeting with Indiana. Durant, Thompson, and Green sure look like an upgrade at the starting unit for the Warriors who paraded a first-five in the loss to Indiana that featured Nick Young and Patrick McCaw. Durant is averaging 26.3 points per game this season, while Thompson is putting up 19.9 markers per outing.
Betting on the Indiana Pacers (46-31)
Indiana has been on of the great surprises in the NBA this season. They could surprise us more with another win against the Warriors this Thursday. While that’s going to be easier said than done, people can’t say that Indiana can’t take down a Warriors team with Durant, Thompson, and Green. For one, the Pacers have terrific players themselves. Victor Oladipo has been superb since escaping Planet Westbrook in OKC. So far this season, Dipo is averaging 23.3 points and 4.3 assists per game. He led the Pacers with 24 points in the win over Golden State. Myles Turner will have to be more aggressive this time around though. He only had five points and three rebounds in March against Golden State. He will be needed more on the glass. Despite missing Durant and Green, the Warriors were able to outrebound Indiana, 51-38, with the Warriors pulling down 17 offensive rebounds against Indiana’s eight.
Writer’s Prediction:
Golden State wins, 110-101.
