The Spurs’ streak of playoff appearances continues as they clinch a spot in the postseason following their 98-85 home win over the Sacramento Kings on Monday. They will now head pack their bags for a game in New Orleans, where they are 2-2 SU in their last four visits there. The Spurs, however, have been pretty bad away from home of late. In fact, they have lost all of their last seven road games, covering the spread in only one of those contests. They won their last meeting with Pelicans, though. That was a 98-93 win at home on Mar. 15, when LaMarcus Aldridge outplayed Anthony Davis and scored 25 points on 11-for-27 shooting from the field. Aldridge and sophomore guard Dejounte Murray are going to play big roles again this Wednesday. Murray has averaged 16.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in three games against the Pelicans this season. He had a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds in the March win over New Orleans.

In three games against the Spurs, The Brow has put up 25.3 points and 13.3 rebounds. He also shot 50.9 percent from the field in those games. Even scarier is the Pelicans’ offense that has been firing on all cylinders lately. They have averaged 121.0 points per game with a 49.9 percent shooting from the field and 41.2 percent clip from the outside. The over is 3-1 in their last four games overall.
