The Rockets will play their season finale on the road, though it really does not matter to Houston where they play. They have been terrific on the road this season and have also been particularly well over the past few years when they are in Sacramento. In fact, the Rockets are 6-1 SU in their last seven trips to Sacramento, going 4-3 ATS in those outings. The Rockets are also going in for a regular-season sweep of Sacramento, a they have already defeated the Kings twice this 2017-18 campaign. They beat Sacramento at home on Feb. 14, 100-91, and on the road on Oct. 18, 105-100. James Harden has averaged 27.5 points in those two games to go with 9.0 assists and 6.0 rebounds. Houston backers, however, should check back on updates on whether the Rockets will sit out some of their key players against Sacramento this Wednesday.
Betting on the Sacramento Kings (26-54)

All Sacramento wants this Wednesday is a win. That said, a loss wouldn’t be so bad either considering that it’ll help their chances of winning the No. 1 pick in this year’s NBA Draft. The Kings could also just cover the spread, which is something spread Kings spread bettors would definitely like to see. Sacramento’s 3-0 ATS record in its last three meetings with Houston should be encouraging for underdog watchers. Moreover, the Kings are a solid 3-1 ATS in their last four games as underdogs. In their last outing, they lost to the San Antonio Spurs, 98-85, on the road, but covered their 14-point spread as underdogs. Willie Cauley-Stein is averaging 16.8 points with 8.2 rebounds in the last five games, while Buddy Hield has put up 15.8 points over the same stretch. Over that span also, the King have averaged just 90.6 points on 40.8 field goal shooting percentage.
Writer’s Prediction:
Houston wins, 112-100.
