The Houston Rockets did not allow the Golden State Warriors to steal another game and go up in the Western Conference finals 2-0, as James Harden and company took down the defending champs in Game 2 on Wednesday, 127-105. Will the Rockets get the series lead this Sunday? Or will the Warriors get the advantage back? The sportsbook certainly favors the home team in this one, giving Golden State a touchdown edge (is it time for NFL yet?) with the point spread set at 7-points.

Betting on the Houston Rockets (+7)
The players that played like ghosts in Game for the Rockets resurfaced in Game 2 and lent James Harden and Chris Paul the help they they did not have in the loss in the series opener. Eric Gordon scored 27 points off the bench; Trevor Ariza had 19 markers; PJ Tucker churned out a playoff career-high of 22 points, as the Rockets routed Golden State on Wednesday. Harden and Paul had 27 and 16 points, respectively. After shooting 45.9 percent in Game 1, the Rockets shot over 51 percent in game 2, and they look to keep their hands hot on Sunday in Oakland. Houston is 3-0 SU and ATS in its last three road games.
The Rockets are also 2-0-1 ATS in their last three games at the ORACLE Arena.
Betting on the Golden State Warriors (-7)
Is Curry still being slowed down by a recent knee injury that forced him to sit out last several games of the regular season and the first few games of the playoffs? No one knows for sure, but he’s playing as though he’s not at 100 percent. Curry scored 16 points in Game 2 but shot just 1-for-8 from the 3-point area. In Game 1, he had 18 points but was just 1-for-5 from distance. In any case, the Warriors still have Kevin Durant, who dropped 38 points on Wednesday. Durant will enter Game 3 with averaging 29.6 points in the playoffs. He has put up 34.3 points in the last four games. The Warriors are hard to beat at home during the postseason over the past couple of years.
In fact, they are 15-0 SU and 7-7-1 ATS in their last 15 playoff games at home dating back to 2016.
Writer’s Prediction
Golden State wins, 121-104.
