After escaping Week 12 by the skin of their teeth, the Minnesota Vikings will look to win more convincingly this time around, as they welcome the free-falling Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The Jags, however, have shown some pop in their last outing, and they might be seeing the end of a long, dark tunnel in Week 13. Check out our preview of this game below.

Betting on the Jacksonville Jaguars (+10)
Regular Season Record: 1-10
The Jaguars hit the 10-loss mark last Sunday after falling prey to the Cleveland Browns at home, 27-25. But despite the loss, the Jags might have a positive takeaway in the form of Mike Glennon’s performance. The veteran threw for 235 yards and two touchdowns without an interception on 20-of-35 completions in his first start of the season, and the Jags could be better off with him starting for the rest of the year. Starting him again against Minnesota would not be such a bad idea, considering that the Vikings are just 25th against the pass with 261.3 passing yards allowed per game. Complementing Glennon will be undrafted rookie running back James Robinson, who rumbled for 128 rushing yards and a touchdown on 22 carries against the Browns. The Vikings have allowed at least 109 rushing yards in four of their last five games.
The Jaguars are 3-1 against the spread in their last four games overall.
Betting on the Minnesota Vikings (-10)
Regular Season Record: 5-6
The Vikings can consider themselves ultra lucky for somehow eking out a 28-27 home win over the Carolina Panthers last Sunday. In any case, Kirk Cousins looked good in that game, as he passed for 307 yards and three touchdowns without an interception even though he was missing wide receiver Adam Thielen. That’s thanks to the Vikings’ receiving corps stepping up, with four players finishing with at least 63 receiving yards — led by Justin Jefferson, who had 70 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns on seven catches. Thielen could return to action in Week 13, which would be more bad news for the Jaguars’ lethargic pass defense that is allowing 279.5 passing yards per game — 29th in the NFL. The Vikings also have Dalvin Cook to toast Jacksonville’s run defense that is allowing 136.2 rushing yards per game.
The over is 7-0 in the Vikings’ last seven home games.
Writer’s Prediction
The Vikings win, 33-24.
