Best NBA Teams to Bet On – March 5

The Clippers and Spurs own the top two spots in this week’s betting rankings with the longest current winning streaks in the NBA. Meanwhile, the Heat, Bulls and Bucks all return from last week as they remain profitable teams for discerning bettors.

Best NBA Teams to Bet On – March 5

TEAMS TRENDS
Los Angeles Clippers 5-0 SU/ATS in last 5 games
San Antonio Spurs 8-2 SU/Over 8-2 in last 10 games
Miami Heat 8-2 SU/7-1-1 ATS in last 10 games
Chicago Bulls 8-2 SU/ATS in last 10 games
Milwaukee Bucks 4-1 ATS/Over 5-0 in last 5 games

1. Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers are 5-0 SU and ATS in their last five games thanks to wins against the playoff-bound Thunder, Rockets and Suns and a pair of wins against the Pelicans. LA can strengthen its bid for 3rd in the West by winning the four games they play at home this week. They have a good shot at doing so: the Clip are 25-5 SU at home, the best record in the West.

Even while constantly resting and rotating the Duncan-Parker-Ginobili trio, Gregg Popovich has the Spurs scoring loads of points and churning out wins. San Antonio has won four straight games to put them at 8-2 SU in their last 10. The total has also gone over in eight of those ten contests.

3. Miami Heat

LeBron James, NBA, Miami Heat

The Miami Heat finally ran out of steam as their eight-game winning streak ended in Houston. To be fair, it was the second night of a back-to-back and they were still just a LeBron James three away from sending the game to overtime. With LeBron subsequently dropping 61 points against the Bobcats, it probably won’t be long until Miami heats up again.

4. Chicago Bulls

The Bulls had a winning streak of their own snapped on the second half of a back-to-back, ending a four-game run in Brooklyn. The offense couldn’t sustain the stretch of four straight 100+ point games putting up just 80 in a 96-80 loss. The Bulls can take solace in the fact that this week’s schedule will be heavy on games at the United Center, where Chicago is 18-10 SU this season.

5. Milwaukee Bucks

Bucks fans don’t have much to cheer for these days. That is unless they’ve recently been betting on their team to cover or go over, in which case they are ecstatic. In their last five games, the Bucks are 4-1 ATS, while the over has gone 5-0. This week’s schedule features winnable games against the Kings, Pelicans, Wizards and Magic, so things may also be looking up for even non-wagering Bucks fans.
