[sc:NBA240banner ]The Clippers started their three-game road trip on a winning note Wednesday as they edged past the Indiana Pacers 103-96. The team is now 9-0 in their last nine games.

Jamal Crawford, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul led the way for Los Angeles as they combined for 52 points to help improve the Clippers’ record on the road to 8-2. They will have a battle in their hands, though, against the Wizards who have won all of their last five games at home.

The Wizards are fresh off an exhilarating 91-89 road victory over the Orlando Magic where Bradley Beal nailed his first career game-winning basket. Beal has made an immediate impact in his return to the Washington lineup, averaging 13.8 points per game this season, second-best in the team.

The Clippers are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games in Washington.

Writer’s Prediction

The Clippers edge past the Wizards, 98-92.

Detroit Pistons vs. Phoenix Suns (9:00 PM ET)

Line: Detroit Pistons (+10) at Phoenix Suns (-10); total: 202.0 – view all NBA lines

Detroit’s losing woes show no sign of abating as they slumped to their 13th consecutive defeat Tuesday night with their 108-96 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. The Pistons had another poor shooting performance, nailing just 34 of their 97 field goal attempts (35.1 percent) to send them crashing to their 19th defeat in 22 games.

Help is on the way for the Pistons later tonight as prized free agent signing Jodie Meeks makes his much-awaited debut against the Phoenix Suns. Meeks will bring a much-needed boost to a Detroit offense that is averaging just 92.8 points per game this season, second-worst in the NBA.

The Suns are 5-0 SU in their last five games with the Pistons at home.

Writer’s Prediction

The Suns crush the Pistons, 103-87. Create a betting account now and cash in on the best games of the day.
